Driving Aids:

Using alternative methods like hand controls, people with physical disabilities can independently drive their vehicles. We offer nearly all brands of hand control systems and our mobility equipment expert works with you to determine your requirements. Our hand controls do not interfere with standard driving and are available on all wheelchair vans. In addition to primary hand control systems that operate the gas and brake pedals, secondary units are offered to operate the blinkers, wipers and directional.

NMEDA

FT Mobility is a proud member of NMEDA National Mobility Equipment Dealer Association.

The program was developed to promote quality, safety and reliability within the industry. Some states now require a dealer’s participation in the QAP to perform work for the Vocational Rehabilitation Programs. The QAP is the only program of this nature developed for the mobility equipment industry. A QAP designation enhances vehicle modification and mobility equipment installation in a matter consistent with the highest guidelines available in the industry.
